Strikers Jonas Goncalves and Joselu were today linked with summer moves to Albion as QPR considered a fresh bid for Baggies defender Jonas Olsson.

Albion, who have also been alerted to the potential availability of long-time target Fabio Quagliarella, are lining up potential new recruits after beginning a summer clearout by shedding 10 players from their squad.

And eight-time Brazil international Jonas, who looks set to leave Valencia this summer, and German-based Spaniard Joselu, who is currently with Hoffenheim, have been mentioned as potential targets.

But the Baggies are also braced for possible fresh interest in Olsson, with QPR's promotion back to the Premier League triggering ambitious plans from Loftus Road boss Harry Redknapp to re-mould his Championship play-off winning side.

Sources in Spain claim Hawthorns officials have lodged their interest in Jonas and Joselu as they line up a list of potential forwards to put to their new head coach.

Jonas, aged 30, has netted 51 goals in 139 appearances for Valencia, who he joined from Gremio in 2010, but he looks set to move on this summer with Brazilian club Corinthians and sides in Russia and Qatar reportedly showing an interest.

The 6ft striker has scored twice in eight appearances for Brazil since making his debut in 2011 but has not figured in recent squads.

Joselu, who was born in Germany to Spanish parents, scored 12 times in 26 appearances on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt last season but the club could struggle to afford Hoffenheim's asking price for a permanent deal. That could make the 6ft 3in 24-year-old, who was previously with Real Madrid, available to other clubs.

Quagliarella looks set to leave Juventus this summer with the Turin club said to want around £4.5m for the 31-year-old.

Olsson was a target for QPR two years ago before their relegation but has two years remaining on his current Hawthorns contract.
