The 35-year-old midfielder scooped the two big honours at Sunday's bash – the same day the Saddlers ruthlessly thrashed Staffordshire rivals Port Vale 5-0.

Chambers was voted Player of the Season by the club's supporters, with Romaine Sawyers taking the runner-up spot and James O'Connor finishing third.

But the skipper was also crowned Players' Player of the Season in an award voted by his team-mates.

Left-back Rico Henry picked up the Young Player of the Season prize for the second successive year, with emerging youngster Jordon Sangha earning the Apprentice of the Season accolade.

Goal of the Season was given to Sawyers for his stunning strike in the 4-0 win at Blackpool, back in August.

The St Kitts & Nevis international was also named the Community Player of the Season.
