Walsall's Tom Bradshaw has warned Shrewsbury fans – taunt me at your peril.

The 23-year-old former Town striker returns to Greenhous Meadow for the first time tonight as the Saddlers go toe-to-toe with their West Midlands rivals.

Bradshaw left Shrewsbury for the Banks's Stadium in June 2014 and has gone on to score a staggering 32 goals in 60 games.

The forward received the usual terrace abuse when the two teams met in the FA Cup last season but responded by grabbing two goals in a 2-2 draw.

Bradshaw was forced to miss the replay through injury though and is now looking forward to the hostile reception that awaits him tonight.

"Personally I love it when you get a reaction like that," Bradshaw said.

"I thought it was brilliant last season when the fans gave me stick.

"Some players might get affected by it but I enjoy it to be honest.

"It just gives you that extra couple per cent to want to score another goal so you can give some back."

Bradshaw enters the game in top form having scored three goals in his last three games.

But despite being desperate to notch against his old employers, the Welshman still holds Shrewsbury close to his heart.

"I'm excited for the game and hopefully we can get the three points," he said.

"I had a lot of great times there but it's short memories in football for fans and players I suppose with all the jeering I got last year.

"But it will be great to go back, I had some great years and enjoyed myself there.

"I've still got a few friends there although Connor Goldson and Ryan Woods left in the summer.

"They were obviously two lads I came through the youth team with.

"But I've still got a few mates there. Chris Skitt the physio, I've known him for years, Jermaine Grandison, there's still players that I've been playing with for years and it will be great to catch up with them."
