Walsall work rate key to Anthony Forde

Winger Anthony Forde believes Walsall's high work ethic will ensure they sustain their place in the promotion hunt.

The Saddlers entered today's top-of-the-table clash with Gillingham knowing victory will see them return to the top of League One.

Forde, who joined the club from Wolves in August last year, has seen Dean Smith's side make big strides over the past 12 months.

And the Irishman is sure Walsall will still be chasing promotion to the Championship when the race hots up in April and May.

Forde said: "We have got a great group of lads here who all have a great work ethic. Everyone here is focused on promotion."
