Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw believes the two wonder goals that secured victory over Doncaster are the best of his career.

The 23-year-old netted with a spectacular volley in the 86th minute and again with an equally-impressive chip in stoppage time to earn his side a 2-0 victory.

That result meant the Saddlers moved back into the automatic promotion slots in League One and means Bradshaw already has seven goals for the 2015/16 campaign.

And the former Shrewsbury man admitted Saturday's strikes were probably his best yet.

"They have to be up there," he said. "My first goal on my debut for Shrewsbury, that's up there, but in terms of finishing I think those are the best two finishes I've done in my career.

"Most importantly, they won us the game and ensured I didn't go five games without a goal.

"I wouldn't say it plays on your mind but I've got quite high standards and if I go a couple of games without a goal I get on at myself.

"So does my dad and my uncle, they won't let me forget it.

"So around 80 minutes I was thinking five games without a goal is not great. Luckily I managed to get two."

Bradshaw also praised his side's composure with Walsall continuing to play football in the dying stages despite being in need of a winner.

"It was a really big win for us," he said. "It was more pleasing because it was 0-0 after 80-odd minutes.

"Last season, if we had got to that point, we would have rarely come out with a win.

"But on the pitch it felt like it was only a matter of time before we scored."

Tom Bradshaw puts Walsall 1-0 up.

The game also saw the return of Neil Etheridge and Jason Demetriou who missed the defeats against Morecambe and Bury due to international commitments. Both men impressed once again with Etheridge named sponsors man of the match.

"Etheridge did brilliantly," Bradshaw added.

"Craig MacGillivray did well while he was away but to have Ethers back was a big boost and also to have Demetriou back was a big boost.

"I don't think those two have lost in Walsall colours yet so hopefully they'l get dropped for the next international games!"
