Players and staff at cash-strapped Kidderminster Harriers are once again being paid. more

Officials made the announcement at the club's annual general meeting this week.

Those attending were also told the directors' report and financial statement for the year ending May 31 2014 showed a loss of £263,601.

Chairman Ken Rae said the wages had been bankrolled by supporters Ernie and Kath Lane, who had guaranteed to fund the playing budget until the end of the season.

Staff and players staged a silent protest by refusing to speak to media after Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to FC Halifax after failing to receive a portion of their monthly salaries.

Mr Rae said the board was also trying to attract new directors to the club. The present board each contribute £10,000.

No comments were made at the meeting in regards the reported £263,601 loss.
