Video: Harriers are finally off the bottom

Kidderminster Harriers moved off the foot of the National League with a thrilling 3-2 win over high-riding Eastleigh at Aggborough.

Luke Maxwell, Harry White and Arthur Gnahoua were Harriers' marksmen in a priceless victory.

Relegation-battling Kidderminster have now won two matches on the bounce but are still 10 points away from safety.

The Spitfires, winless in their previous eight outings following a 3-1 home triumph over Harriers on December 19, found themselves a goal down after just three minutes.

Ben Whitfield set up the opportunity for midfielder Maxwell to lash home a fierce volley from 15 yards.

It was a dream start for Kidderminster who went close to adding to their slender lead in the 13th minute when a powerful long-range drive from Elton Ngwatala whistled just wide.

Hard-working Harriers continued to try their luck with shots from long range with Ngwatala again firing wide of the target.

Whitfield then drilled in an effort which goalkeeper Michael Poke was well positioned to gather.

The visitors' best opportunity before the break came during first-half stoppage time, when a shot from Michael Green was pushed around the post by goalkeeper Dean Snedker.

Harriers forged into a 2-0 lead when a shot from Maxwell was pushed away by Poke to enable new on-loan striker White to hit home hit first goal for the club, with an angled shot in the 61st minute.

Eastleigh reduced the deficit in the 62nd minute when former Aggborough hot-shot James Constable netted following a pinpoint cross from Joe Partington.

Eight minutes later it was 2-2 when Constable struck again, this time turning the ball in after a cross from Luke Coulston.

Harriers regained the lead in the 74th minute when a quick free-kick led to Gnahoua forcing his way past a couple of defenders before firing past Poke.
