Three wins on the bounce for Richard Sneekes' side have seen them climb to seventh in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

It comes ahead of tomorrow's trip to leaders Blyth Spartans. The Dales Lane side still boast a 100 per cent record from their three clashes since the turn of the year.

It's thanks in part to former Villa and Walsall youngster Reid, who has scored in all three games.

He said: "Reidy's a young lad with so much potential. He can go high up in the game I think if he carries on improving like he has been.

"His work off the ball is getting better and he can really be one for the future."

Last weekend saw Sneekes' men secure an impressive win against high-flying Nantwich Town, through Reid's solitary strike, and Hinks does not fear the test that Blyth pose.

He said: "I don't see why we can't get something from there. They've lost twice at home. We've picked up a bit of form and it's a chance to show people how far we've come."

Stourbridge are hoping to beat the elements as they head into their FA Trophy second-round clash at Braintree.

The Essex side, of the National League, have not played a game since Boxing Day due to poor conditions and sit 12th.

The Glassboys' best FA Trophy run came in 1970/71 – where they made the quarter-finals. Tenth-placed Halesowen Town travel to Ilkeston.
