Harriers sell out for Stourbridge clash

Kidderminster Harriers have sold out their ticket allocation for Saturday's mouth-watering FA Cup clash with Stourbridge.

Harriers' fourth qualifying round draw at the War Memorial Ground was billed as the tie of the round.

They sold out their 300-strong allocation for the game in just four hours prior to Saturday's Aggborough defeat against Southport.

Dave Hockaday's men, as per all National League Premier clubs, enter the FA Cup at this stage - just one from the first round proper.

Hosts Stourbridge entered at the first qualifying round and have already eliminated Tividale, Dunkirk and Rushall Olympic to reach this stage.

Gary Hackett's men are no strangers to success in the famous competition, having enjoyed runs to the first round proper three times in six seasons.

They fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat when Walsall visited in the first round during the 2009-10 season before Stevenage twice put paid to their dreams in two of the following four seasons.

Harriers are without a competitive win since March, a remarkable run that sees them rooted to the bottom of the National League table.

Former Leeds United boss Hockaday has overseen two defeats and a draw in his first three games.

The Reds have cup pedigree of their own, reaching the fourth round two seasons ago before losing 1-0 at Sunderland.

Stourbridge general tickets sales are available this evening at Amblecote from 6.30pm onwards, as the Glassboys welcome Ilkeston with tickets only available to those at the game.
