A late goal by Stourbridge substitute Chris Lait settled their trip to Ramsbottom United.

Lait beat the Ramsbottom defence for pace in the 91st minute and sidefooted the ball home.

Karl Hawley had given the Glassboys the lead in the 48th minute when Louis Harris put the ball in from a corner and it bounced around until it was forced home by the experienced former Football League striker, who counts Carlisle United, Preston North End, Notts County and Scunthorpe United among his former clubs.

Justin Richards hit the post with a 60th-minute free-kick as Stourbridge threatened to dominate the hosts, who entered the game winless in the league in 2015/16 and rooted to the foot of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League table.

However, Ramsbottom equalised through Andrew Dawson, also from close range in the 73rd minute and substitute Melford Knight went close just after, only for Lewis Solly to get his foot to the shot.

Ramsbottom probably deserved at least their third point of the campaign after having the better of a poor first half, but Lait wriggled through in the closing stages to win it.
