Rushall Olympic boss Richard Sneekes is looking for his side to tighten up at the back ahead of tomorrow's visit of Workington.

The Pics, who remain 10th in the Northern Premier, are without a win in four games and a clean sheet in six.

Sneekes said: "We looked solid at the back over pre-season but now we've been leaking goals. Most of them have been really soft.

"It was our Achilles heel last season but I believe it will come good for us this season, teams in and around us are in a similar situation.

"We know that we will score goals going forward and we will have a really good chance this season if we can keep them out at the other end.

"If we are on top of our game we are more than a match for any team in this division."

The Pics picked up two points over the Bank Holiday double-header, the latter a rousing draw at local rivals Stourbridge, with a last minute equaliser after the Dales Lane side had twice come from behind.

The boss added: "It was a great advert for non-league football.

"A crowd of over 600, under the floodlights with a really decent surface.

"It was a very good point for us at the end of the day.

"But we still conceded twice through our own mistakes.

"We've got some info on Workington but they lost their manager over the summer - who I shared a close friendship with.

"So they are rebuilding and that always makes it tricky.

"But we want a clean sheet first and foremost.

"We only have one defeat in six. Sometimes it's better to lose two or three than consistently draw games for a period."

Stourbridge travel to a Buxton side that have very much hit the ground running so far this season.

With four wins from six, they sit 10 places and four points above Gary Hackett's men.

The Glassboys will head north full of confidence thanks to last weekend's fine win at Skelmersdale.
