Sniggering Albion fans have been dreaming up their own trivial excuses for Mark Hughes to use next time he’s in town after he accused the Baggies of leaving the grass long on purpose.
After Sunday’s 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns, the Stoke boss sniffed: “I see they’re cutting the grass now. They should have done it before the game, but there you go.”
