Aston Villa complete Pierluigi Gollini deal

Aston Villa have sealed the signing of goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini on a four-year deal.

The 21-year-old Italian arrives from Serie A outfit Hellas Verona and previously spent time in Manchester United's youth set-up.

He has linked up with the rest of the Villa squad as a training camp in Austria, where they will spend the next week building up fitness levels.

Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo said: "I am very pleased to have brought in Pierluigi.

"We have managed to sign him despite the fact he was being chased by a number of top sides and that is a great sign.

"He's a young man but has plenty of experience and I'm sure he'll prove to be an excellent signing for the club."
