The 30-year-old has been looking for new employers since his summer departure from Norwich City, after three seasons at Carrow Road.

It's with the Canaries where he was under the supervision of Tony Parks, now the goalkeeping coach at Villa for manager Tim Sherwood.

Bunn said: "I'm delighted to find myself working with Tony again, as he was at Norwich City with me so he knows me really well.

"Aston Villa is a huge football club and this was too good an opportunity to miss out on.

"I'm looking forward to getting to know my new team-mates over in Portugal at our pre-season training camp and I can't wait to get started."
