Lorry fire closes M6 slip road

A lorry fire closed an exit slip road on the M6.

The fire which broke out shortly after 1.45pm closed the M6 southbound exit slip road at Junction 8 for the M5 southbound.

The fire was dealt with and the slip road reopened at 2.30pm.

Delays remain but are beginning to ease.
