More Birmingham Airport shops and restaurants to reopen as foreign travel resumes

More of the facilities for passengers at Birmingham Airport will be reopening from Monday.

More facilities are opening for passengers at Birmingham Airport

Many of the airport's retail and catering outlets have had to close due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Boots in the departure lounge is already open and offering a food option for departing passengers. The opening hours will coincide with flight departure schedules.

For departing passengers Accessorize, Burger King, Kurt Geiger, Luggage Point, Pret a Manger, and World Duty Free reopen on Monday.

JD Sport opens from May 20 and Factory Bar from May 24.

For arriving passengers Cafe Nero is open again from Monday.

The airport is encouraging travellers to use pre-book methods and contactless payments wherever possible.

Face coverings must be worn throughout the terminal building and passengers are advised to bring spare face coverings for longer journeys and plastic bags to store used face coverings.
