Driver killed in Quinton Expressway crash was 'wonderful' father-of-four from Oldbury

A driver killed when his Mercedes left the road has been named as a father-of-four from Oldbury.

Jagdeep Singh Bhandher, aged 40, known as Jagdeep Pandher, died at the scene on the A456 Quinton Expressway near Halesowen at around 2.40am yesterday.

In a statement released by police, his family said: "Jagdeep was a loyal husband and wonderful father of four who will be missed greatly."

PC Stuart Thorpe, from the force's Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Jagdeep was driving his white Mercedes in the direction of Birmingham at the time of the collision and we are particularly keen to hear from witnesses who may have seen the collision or the vehicle moments before.

"Specialist officers are supporting Jagdeep's family and our thoughts remain with them at this sad time."

Friends paid tribute on Facebook. Salah Uddin Ayoubi said: "Rip Jaggers. You were a good friend may you find your peace in the after life."
