Lilah, an 18 month old rescue dog who came all the way from Cyprus, was being transported from a foster home to a new home when she escaped at the Hilton Park Service Station on the M6 on November 28.

Owner Julie Osborne said: "Her new owners have been coming all the way from Portsmouth and her foster family have been travelling from Stockport almost every other day to search for her, along with people from the local area.

"She will be so frightened, cold and very hungry now and we are desperate for more people to be aware of her story.

"We realise there are hundreds of missing dogs but Lilah has been through so much.

"She was rescued from Cyprus, flown to Paris and then put on Eurostar only for her to escape from the car at Hilton Park services on her way to her forever home."
