Race day for One Direction's Liam Payne and his girl
Wolverhampton's One Direction heart throb Liam Payne joined a host of stars at Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix.
The 21-year-old was seen with girlfriend Sophia Williams, also from Wolverhampton, at the major Formula One event yesterday as part of their holiday on the Mediterranean coast.
They were joined by many celebrities who had come to Monaco following the Cannes Film Festival.
The singer was seen carefully guiding his girlfriend through the crowds at the grand prix, which lasted the weekend.
Last week, Liam even posed with some of the cars on display at Red Bull Racing Energy Station in Monte Carlo.
The star was also spotted talking to former motorsport team boss Eddie Jordan.
He arrived at Nice airport last Wednesday without his One Direction bandmates.
It comes a month after he made a surprise return to his home city, appearing as special guest at a 'topping out' ceremony for the Youth Zone.
It is hoped Liam, who arrived with his mother and father Geoff and Karen plus Sophia, will become the £6million project's figurehead.
