Woman's body found in Midland city centre canal

A woman's body has been recovered from a city centre canal.

Published May 11, 2014

The 47-year-old woman was found in the Digbeth branch canal in Birmingham city centre at 11.30am this morning after police received a 999 call from a member of the public.

Officers say the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.

Her next of kin have been informed.
