They have been unable to take artwork home because of the pandemic but staff at Seesaws Day Nursery in Wolverhampton were determined people should realise their talents.

Staff decided to hold various activities in honour of Sir Captain Tom Moore.

These included a balloon release and colouring of pictures.

Now their artwork has gone on display on the fencing panel at the entrance to the nursery.

Day Nursery manager Laura Bullen, aged 40, said: "The nursery caters for 53 children aged up to four-years-old.

"Only about 15 of the pre-school children, aged three and four-years-old, have taken part in the activities.

"They have really enjoyed it and I think taking part in these has made them curious to find out more about Sir Captain Tom Moore and they certainly love to see their artwork on show."
