Fire walk for charity to take place at home of Walsall FC

A football club in the Black Country is set to host a fire-walk to help raise money for a children's charity.

Walsall Football Club is hosting the event at Banks's Stadium on Friday at 6pm in aid of Cash For Kids.

Pelsall Windows are fully sponsoring the event which will see people walk barefoot over hot embers or stones.

Dave Ames, from Pelsall Windows which has been trading since 1989, said: "We are very proud and honoured it be involved and support Cash for Kids, and we ask people to come along and bring friends and family to this wonderful evening. – 100 per cent of the proceeds on the day will go directly to Cash for Kids."

Cash for Kids support children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illnesses and those who have additional needs.

Registration for the event will take place at 5.30pm, followed by a seminar and training and other activities ahead of the fire walk starting at 7.30pm.
