It happened at about 8.15pm last night on Radford Bank, near to the Radford Bank Inn and pedestrian crossing.

Police say a black Fiat Panda was in collision with a male cyclist, aged about 14 and wearing a dark-coloured bomber jacket.

The driver stopped but the cyclist left the scene, shouting he was 'OK'.

Officers say they want to make sure the boy, who was with another teenage male cyclist, is all right and does not require medical treatment.

The driver of the Panda was uninjured.

Witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 783 of September 24.
