Lye crash: Woman taken to hospital after two car smash

A woman has been taken to hospital after a two car smash in Stourbridge today.

Emergency services were called to the crash in Dudley Road, Lye, at 9.15am.

Debris was scattered at the scene following the collision.

Paramedics treated one woman, believed to be aged 52, at the scene before she was taken to Russells Hall Hospital.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said: "One woman was taken to Russells Hall Hospital complaining of back pains.

"Two other passengers were uninjured."
