Woman injured in hit-and-run in Smethwick
A woman aged 63 was injured when she was hit by a car which then failed to stop at the scene.

Police were called to Waterloo Road, Smethwick, at around 6.26pm yesterday after the victim was struck by a VW Passatt.
She was taken to hospital with head injuries which were not thought to be life threatening.
West Midlands Police said the driver, from Smethwick, failed to stop but presented herself at Smethwick police station at 7.10pm.
The 27-year-old has not been arrested and the investigation continues.
The road was closed but opened again just after 8.20pm.
