Bus and car collide outside Wolverhampton police station

One bus passenger was treated by paramedics after the crash, which happened in Garrick Street at its junction with Bilston Street, near to the city's main police station.

Other buses were diverted down Broad Street while emergency services attended.

Other traffic continued to flow freely, despite the crash happened during peak rush hour yesterday at around 5.30pm.

The bus, a number 1 serving Dudley, Sedgley, Wolverhampton, and Tettenhall Wood, was operation by National Express West Midlands.
