Suspect arrested after two women attacked

A man has been charged with assaulting two women after information from a public appeal led to his arrest.

Chad Pulisciano is alleged to have attacked the pair, who are both aged in their 40s, at an address in Small Heath in July.

The attack left one woman in hospital with a fractured arm, broken hand and head injuries, while the other suffered cuts and nerve damage to her hand.

Pulisiciano, of Arnold Grove, Kings Norton, was identified as a suspect and a public appeal was launched to help find him.

Information given to West Midlands Police by a member of the public led to his arrest on Sunday, August 30 at a property in Tyseley.

He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was remanded to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday, September 29.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We've charged a man with assaulting two women after he was arrested following information we received from a public appeal to trace him.

"Chad Pulisciano is alleged to have attacked the pair, both aged in their 40s, at an address in Small Heath in July.

"One woman was taken to hospital with a fractured arm, broken hand and head injuries; while the other had cuts and nerve damage to her hand.

"The 29-year-old, of Arnold Grove, Kings Norton, was identified as a suspect and after a public appeal we received information which led us to a property in Tyseley.

"He was arrested on Sunday (August 30) and subsequently charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

"He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (September 1) where he was remanded to appear at the city's Crown Court on September 29."
