Schoolboy assaulted while walking home in Codsall

A schoolboy walking home was assaulted by two men who pulled up in a car.

Officers say the young male, whose age has not been given, was walking along Elliots Lane, in Codsall, at around 3.15pm on Friday.

He was approached by two men in a car who then assaulted him before getting back in their car and heading back towards Codsall.

In an appeal, PCSO Sian Fryer from Staffordshire Police, said: "At around 3.15pm on Friday a young male was walking home from school on Elliots Lane, Codsall, when he was set upon by two male suspects.

"The suspects were seen to assault the victim before getting into their car and making off, turning right at Histon's Hill lights, towards Codsall.

"The two males had been travelling in a red Kia Ceed with a third male. All three suspect males are described as being black. The two males who carried out the assault are described as wearing Nike hoodies and being approximately 5ft 7 inches tall.

"We are appealing for anyone whom may have witnessed or have CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident to get in contact."
