Teenage girl and man in 'critical condition' after car hits wall in Walsall

A teenage girl and a man have been left in a critical condition after a car hit a wall in Walsall.

Police rushed to Mellish Road after a blue VW Golf ploughed into a wall just after 1am today.

A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were taken to hospital with serious injuries and remain in a critical condition.

Officers closed the road whilst a forensic examination of the scene was carried out – ahead of an appeal being launched.

Anyone with any information, who has a dash cam or mobile phone footage, or saw a blue VW Golf in the area should contact the force.
