Man charged in connection with fatal shooting in Dudley

A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder after a man was shot in Dudley.

Mohammed Haroon Zeb, aged 39, was shot in Queens Cross just after 12.35am on January 31. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died.

Choudhary Naheim Rashid, of Kingswinford Road in Dudley, was arrested on Wednesday over the fatal shooting and has now been charged.

The 47-year-old was set to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.

A 21-year-old man has also been arrested suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody for questioning.

Two men have already been charged with the murder of Mr Zeb, who was known as Haroon. They are Hassan Tasleem, 23, of Richmond Road, and Akarsh Tasleem, 25, of Shaw Road.
