Man arrested after catalytic converter thefts in Codsall

A man has been arrested in connection with reported catalytic converter thefts in South Staffordshire.

The arrest was made by West Midlands Police in connection with the thefts reported in the Chapel Lane and Madeira Drive areas of Codsall in the early hours of Tuesday, February 16.

A 44-year-old man from Wolverhampton was detained shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

He remains in police custody this morning and is being transferred to Staffordshire Police, the force investigating the thefts.
