Three men arrested in connection with Dudley shooting released

Three men arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a fatal shooting in the Black Country have been released.

Mohammed Haroon Zeb, 39, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being shot in Queens Cross, in Dudley, just after 12.35am on January 31.

Mr Zeb, known as Haroon, later died in hospital and a post-mortem concluded he died of a gunshot wound.

Three men, aged 19, 25 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice – but West Midlands Police have now confirmed the three men have been released on police bail.

A 37-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has also been released pending further investigations, police say.

West Midlands Police is continuing their investigation into the murder of Mr Zeb and anyone who has any information is urged to call 101, quoting 20DY/28354Z/21.
