Simon Wilkins, 27, entered his plea at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday.

It comes after 39-year-old Artura Busma was found beaten to death in a flat in Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, on April 23.

Wilkins, of Tettenhall Road, will be sentenced at a later date.

Judge Michael Chambers QC today directed that a not guilty verdict is entered in relation to a murder charge for Jodie Rafferty, 33, of Tettenhall Road, after the prosecution said it would not be offering evidence due to a lack of prospect of conviction at trial.
