Police were first called at 8.20am on Saturday, January 16, to reports of a burglary at a phone shop in High Street, Stone.

Officers attended and found a front window to the premises had been smashed – and shelves emptied of Samsung and Apple phones.

The business owner was informed and the window boarded up – but police were called to the shop again at around 8am on Sunday, January 17, to reports of a further burglary.

They found another window at the same premises had been smashed – and a mobile phone and air pods had been taken.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers reviewed CCTV footage and following their inquiries, arrested two men aged 33 and 27 years old, and a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of burglary.

"The 33-year-old man and the 27-year-old man from the Newcastle and Stone areas have each been released on conditional police bail.

"The 36-year-old woman, also from the Stone area, has been released under investigation while inquiries continue."

Anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 148 of January 16 and 132 of January 17.
