Rowley Regis murder investigation: Man appears in court over death of partner

A man charged with murdering his partner appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Ronald Cooke, aged 54, of Granville Road, Old Hill, will appear before the court again on August 7, following the incident on February 6 when 54-year-old Tina Billingham died after arriving at a doctor's surgery in Rowley Regis with stab injuries.

He pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder in relation to the death of Ms Billingham on Monday.

She died as a result of stab wounds to the chest and to the stomach, which was confirmed by a post mortem.
