A 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds, all from Wolverhampton, were held after police issued CCTV of a number of suspects.

The victim was left needing hospital treatment after the attack which saw him seek refuge in the Little Dessert Shop after being stabbed twice on the evening of January 19.

He was said to be in Wolverhampton city centre bus station at around 7pm when he noticed a gang of four men staring at him.

After a short argument one of the group produced a knife and chased the teenager towards the Britannia Hotel on Lichfield Street.

During the pursuit the 19-year-old was stabbed twice - once to his upper thigh and once to the right side of his body.

Reported to be bleeding heavily, the victim ran back towards the bus station and up to the Little Dessert Shop on Queen Street, where he was helped by staff until police and paramedics arrived.

All those arrested have now been bailed.
