West Midlands Police have also charged Michael Junior with three counts of causing serious injury by driving dangerously in Birmingham.

A police spokesman said Junior, aged 35, of Copthall Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, had been bailed to appear before magistrates in the city next Monday.

The charges follow an inquiry into the deaths of sisters Lily and Shelly Wu, aged seven and six, who were struck by a vehicle in Handsworth on Sunday June 21.
