Mother and daughter in Cannock carjacking terror
A woman and her daughter were forced out of her luxury car in Cannock by three men before they got in and sped off.
The heist took pace at the Orbital Retail Park. The men approached the victim's blue Audi TTS, registration G19AYL, near Pets at Home in Voyager Drive.
One of the carjackers opened the driver's door, ordered the victim out of the car and pulled her from the vehicle. Her daughter was also ordered to get out of the car and they drove off.
They travelled the wrong way down the one-way street which passes KFC onto Orbital Way.
The victim, a 45-year-old Cannock woman, was checked over by paramedics for a minor hand injury but did not require hospital treatment. Her teenage daughter was unharmed in the heist, at 11.20am on Tuesday. The men police are hunting are white.
The man who got in the driver's seat wore a grey and black bomber style jacket and had his face covered. The other two men also had their faces covered and wore dark clothing.
Chief Inspector Carl Ratcliffe is appealing for witnesses. He said: "We want to appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact us. The car is distinctive and has a silver TTS stripe along both sides and chrome mirrors."
Anyone with information can call 101.
