With help from partners and industry experts the week is designed to inspire people to work in this sector.

It will help students who are deciding what their future career might be find out more about the sector and listen to experts.

The introduction to health and care session will be a live event on the Learnlive channel on Monday at 1.30pm which can be watched live or on demand at a later time to suit the schools and colleges.

Throughout the week a variety of career paths will be explored including both clinical and non-clinical roles as well as support roles that help the sector run smoothly.

From a dentist to a dental technician, carer to a nursery nurse the sessions will explore a variety of job roles across the sector.

A challenging stereotypes session will explore different roles within the Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

Organisations taking part in the week will include the CEC, National Apprenticeship Service, Skills for Care, Health Futures, Halesowen College, Sandwell MBC and NHS Health Education England. There will also be a virtual tour of Berrington nursery.
