Three men arrested following armed disorder in Birmingham

Three men have been arrested for suspicion of possessing a firearm after a disorder in Birmingham.

Police have arrested three men

Police were called to reports of a disorder on Washwood Heath Road before 11am on January 26.

Three men, two of which were shirtless, fled the scene and were arrested on Newhall Street shortly after by armed police.

The men - aged 28, 19 and 27 - have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

They remain in custody for questioning.

Police have also seized two blank firing pistols and some blank firing rounds.

Investigations are in the early stages and it is not believed anyone was seriously injured in the disorder.
