Birmingham men among group charged with terror offences

Four men, including two from Birmingham, have been charged with terrorism offences.

They will be appearing Westminster Magistrates Court today to face charges of preparing for terrorist acts.

It comes afer raid in Birmingham and Stoke by counter terror police on August 26.

Those charged are Naweed Ali, aged 28, of Evelyn Road, Sparkhill, Khobaib Hussain, aged 24, also of Evelyn Road, Sparkhill, Mohibur Rahman, aged 31, of High Lane, Stoke, and Tahir Aziz, aged 37, of Wulstan Road, Stoke.

A fifth man, aged 18, also arrested on 26 August has been released without charge.
