Wolves players – including some of their 13 summer signings – were out in force to meet youngsters before they returned to school.

Harry Braiden, aged 11, Riley Braiden, five, and Harley Barker, 11, were among supporters who attended the club's city centre superstore to see midfielder Conor Coady and Prince Oniangué.

Kirsty Braiden took her sons Harry and Riley to get their shirts signed and admitted they had been excited about meeting the duo all day.

Speaking at the shop, Ms Braiden, of Upper Gornal, said: "These lads love it when the players hold meet and greet sessions.

"They have been excited all day about coming to meet them.

"I think it is really important the club continues to hold these events because, for this age group especially, they really appreciate being able to be close to the players."

Harry, Riley and Harley were among the first fans who got to meet Coady and Oniangué during an hour-long 'meet and greet' session last Wednesday.

The players happily posed for photographs and signed pictures and club merchandise.

Among other fans who attended the store in Dudley Street was 21-year-old Jimmy Bailey, of Aldersley.

He said: "I think it is great as it is rare you get these sorts of opportunities."

It came after club captain Danny Batth and summer signing Joao Teixeira met with fans at the club's Molineux Megastore on Tuesday.
