Cars collide on Wolverhampton street

Emergency services were called after a crash between two cars outside a shop in Wolverhampton.

The crash happened in Hordern Road, Whitmore Reans on Tuesday between a Peugeot and a Kia,

Police, ambulance and fire crews were called at around 7.30pm yesterday.

Ambulance service spokesman Murray MacGregor, said: "We were called at 7.37pm to the collision outside Dal Store. It was a two car RTC with liquid leaking from a car. An ambulance attended and there were three people with the cars - one male and two females.

"An 80-year-old man was checked over and discharged at the scene. The other two people were given advice."
