The old Rackhams in Snow Hill, which was later a Netto shop, is being demolished as part of the regeneration of the Southside area of the city.
The demolition team is filling in the underground parts of the site as they make it ready for development. Work is on track to be completed in April.
Demolition started in January.
Once complete, the site will be incorporated into the main car park at the back of the building. The car park will be accessed from the existing council-owned Temple Street car park and the income generated will be used to support the cost of the demolition.
