The Harp Inn in Horseley Fields was shut down and had its licence suspended in January following an application by West Midlands Police.

That followed a fight on January 16 between two gangs in which a knife was allegedly drawn.

Councillors will meet on Wednesday to review the licence and can consider permanently closing it.

In January, the Walsall Street venue, was described by police as being 'on the gang circuit' of pubs in the city.

Officers added there had been three incidents of knife crime there in the past 18 months.
