Four people were assessed at the scene following a crash on Delph Road in Brierley Hill this afternoon.

Police temporarily closed the nearby A461 Brettell Lane at about 5pm while they waited for the vehicles to be removed.

Firefighter Rob Fullwood, watch commander at Brierley Hill Fire Station, said: "There were two cars involved and four casualties.

"They were all out of the vehicles by the time we arrived so we didn't need to cut anyone free.

"The ambulance service checked them over one the side of the road and police closed one of the roads while they waited for the vehicles to be collected and taken away."
