Three fire crews called to M54 lorry blaze

Three fire crews were called to a lorry fire on the M54 this morning.

Published Dec 21, 2015

The fire happened between Junction 2 and Junction 3 westbound at about 7.06am.

The lorry was carrying steel and the fire started in the vehicle's brake lining.

The fire was out before the fire service arrived at the scene, but minor delays were caused.

Crews left the scene at 7.38am.
