Kayleigh Butler, 16, was last seen at around 2pm on July 26, when she left her home on Westwood Road saying that she was visiting friends.

Kayleigh never returned home and now police are appealing for information to help trace her.

She is described as white, around 5ft 3" tall with long straight blonde hair and was last seen wearing a green Lipsy coat with fur hood, baseball hat with the word 'obey' on the front and Timberland boots.

PS Adam Aldred, from Sutton Coldfield police station, said: "Kayleigh maybe heading for Stourbridge and/or Ledbury, Herefordshire as we believe she may be travelling to see family members.

"We want to make sure that she is safe and well and are appealing to anyone who has seen her recently to get in touch.

"I would also appeal to Kayleigh to visit a local police station, she is not in any trouble we just need to make sure she is okay."

Anyone with any information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101. Alternatively people can leave information by calling the Missing Persons charity on 116 000.
