Travellers told to move from Stafford town centre car park by council
Travellers have moved onto a council-run car park in Stafford town centre.

Around 10 caravans parked up on one of the long-stay Doxey Road car parks in the early hours of yesterday morning.
It comes just a few months after other travellers were moved off the site and earlier this month caravans parked overnight on a playing field off Holmcroft Road in Stafford.
Stafford Borough Council has served the travellers with a legal notice to move and if they do not leave the authority will start court proceedings to have them evicted.
