Organisers today said they were delighted to be able to announce a new venue for the event on June 27.

Will Power said: "We are ecstatic to be able to proceed with the event in this local, community-led venue, allowing us to support both a local sporting and charitable organisation."

"We thank both Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire councils, as well as our new hosts Wolverhampton RUFC for making the Wolverhampton launch of Street Banquet possible."

During the day, people will be able to enjoy an afternoon of specialist food and drink on the playing fields at the Castlecroft Road club.

It had originally been arranged for the grounds of Chris Jewkes Fitness in Danescourt Road but was scrapped amid fears over parking, litter and noise.
